What about a packed metro train with everyone inches away?

Hit post too soon. I was fully reimbursed for 19 days of using Uber.

This is not accurate. Was recently in an accident and insurance covered due to difficulty in obtaining a rental car.

OP here,

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I am can just drop it and let Nanny manage her transportation issues on her own. I have a feeling she really doesn't like the attention at the moment.

It's her choice as an adult. There are other options available to her and she is choosing that one. Don't make it your burden because it isn't.

Why don't you just say, I'm giving you a ride home tonight?

Her insurance don't cover Uber service. If she has full cover; insurance Company, provide a car for the time she will need it.

OP here,
Maybe. I didn't want to ask since it's her personal life but I thought $30 Uber ride every day was too much.she said she's not comfortable taking metro because of COVID. My husband gave her $100 gift card on Friday to help with Uber.

Thank you! My husband said the same but I wish she was comfortable taking metro. That is a lot of money for transportation.

I agree but it’s her money and her choice.

Our Nanny was in a car accident two weeks ago. She is taking Uber every day to work. Is this normal for the average nannies? I am feeling guilty because she is basically working one extra hour to pay for her ride. She refused to take metro or ask rides from us or her family.
