We looked for someone who was able to be strict but kind, and was very organized. It was our nanny who figured out that one of our kids did best memorizing for tests by being physical - multiplication quiz on the trampoline, spelling test review while skipping or jumping rope, etc.

We are creating a job posting for a nanny for our kids, who are 4-8. All are in school during the day, and summer came during the summer. Nanny is there to drive them around, help with homework (not the material/tutoring, just make sure they sit down and start doing it), and evening meal/routine.

Would appreciate tips on what to look for in replies to job posting and interview for older kids - is it just about how well they get along with the kids during the meeting? (Assuming they have a clean background check, good references.)
