Be sure to charge more for the tutoring hours. My (12 years older) sister does this. She "retired" 6 months into the pandemic. She charges her tutoring rate of $45/hour and then her nanny-ind rate of $28/hr. (2 kids.) It is all settled on ahead of time to avoid discrepancy. It is a split-shift day. Something like 7-9am and 3-8pm, not sure of the exact hours.

You should definitely try to advertise it on the nanny forum as a house manager. I definitely think they are nannies that would be interested. As I am one, and I will be interested in this type of job.

Bumping this, as we are looking for similar, but only 25-30 hrs per week. Kids come home at 3:55 on the bus most days so only a couple of hours with kids.

You are looking for a nanny/household manager. I'd be happy to send you the typical duties and things to consider if you want to leave your email address.

Depending on what extras you are looking for, it could either be a family assistant position or a nanny/house manager. If you need more house focus, that's a house manager. More "assistant" type duties like running to the post office, mini grocery trips to pick up a few things, dry cleaning runs, etc are all more family assistant type duties.

Part of me feels like this is a troll post so some "nanny agency" can reply with their contact info in order to boost their business.

If it's a real post, start with your job expectations.
Do you want live in or live out?
What weekly hours do you need? There is a difference between 40 and 45 hours because of the OT pay.
How do you anticipate the schedule shifting over the summer? School holidays?
What benefits will you be offering? (paid time off, federal holidays, sick leave, health insurance.)
What errands/extras do you specifically need? Grocery shopping? Dry cleaning drop off/pick up? Taking kids to doctor? Scheduling appointments? Laundry?

Start there. Start with a clear list of job expectations.

Nanny/home manager. Look for an experienced nanny (former teacher would be perfect) with an education.

I don't know the exact wording for what we are looking for, but to try to make it short, I am taking a new job with a very high salary and will need a caregiver + assistant who is very experienced and capable. Basically, we believe we can afford top of the market and are wondering where those types of caregivers look for jobs and advertise?

The hours will not necessarily be long (40-45 hours) because my husband and I have different work hours -- he goes early, I'll stay late, but to make my new job work I really need someone who is super organized, always punctual, willing to help with things like errands and keeping the home running smoothly (but not cleaning since we will arrange for that separately). And someone who is great with kids. We have kids in kinder, 3rd, and 5th, so the caregiving will be after school hours (which begins at 2PM), except in summers of course. We want to hire someone who will bond with the kids, get involved in things they enjoy (one kid loves board games, another loves crafting and baking, the youngest wants someone to play barbies and dolls), and take good care of them (prepare healthy foods, chat with them about their day, etc).
