We are living in some very trying times and it costs us nothing to be kind to each other. I often read some of these posts and responses to ads that parents post and some of the things that are said can be so cruel an unnecessary. Let’s spread love always. To EVERYONE reading this I hope you’re having wonderful day and week and if you’re not don’t go messing up anyone else’s. Life is beautiful!!

... but I still want to make fun of your post and your screaming title and tell you to F off. Let people be who they are and feel what they feel. You have no clue what anyone else is going through and telling them to shut up and smile is so fricking condescending.
I’m with you. All caps and toxic positivity. No thanks.
OP here, I’m far from toxic and I didn’t mean to come off condescending! My hopes in writing in all caps was to just get the attention from someone who may need a sprinkle of positivity. Your opinions are yours to have but I still stand on my initial post. I choose to spread love and not have anything nasty to say. Enjoy your evening!
No one needs someone screaming at them.
You’re still not hearing us, OP. What you’re spreading is not positivity and inauthentic.
Accept people as they are.
Agreed. Deriding people for sharing valid concerns as cruel is classic gaslighting. No interest here in smiling if that’s not what I feel, and it’s not necessary to pretend otherwise on an anonymous forum where threads last days or weeks.
Have you guys read some of the posts or responses? A nanny responded to my post saying I’m a terrible mother because I can only pay $25 hourly for part time care. These ladies can be nasty. I read the post for what it is because it’s true, if you don’t agree with someone’s post move along. Why would you spend time being rude? This platform once was a place where you can get advice and post a job for Nannie’s or sitters to apply to, now everyone seems so annoyed. I most certainly won’t hire anyone who has to degrade someone just to get a point across. To the ones saying “let people be who they are” you’re contradicting yourself because how are you doing that with a response like yours? Someone needed to say it and she did so kudos to Op! People aren’t as nice on here and lack respect for each other.
