Talk about a parent stretching their dollar here.

I could NEVER work for such a hustler.

This woman will nickel and dime you forever, OP. This isn’t a FTM issue - this is disrespectful and cheap beyond belief. You should have guaranteed hours and you are a fool if you stay.

You say, this isn't a good fit, and wish them the best.

I already wash pump parts and bottles.

I’d say no to laundry, except babies.

You know what. It's ok cry for a min but laugh and get happy; since this It's a clear sign that the family and Job is not the right fit for you. So you will be out of there in couple of days. I can't believe she dares to do this kind of thing to you. Discounting every min when she is nursing? Pls I can't imagine how they can be with you in future. Bad employers.

I said I’d stay till the end of my trial so I will. Otherwise the jobs ok. Just not for me. I’ll bring it up to her this afternoon and gauge her response. She is a FTM so may just be truly clueless.

That is a red flag SCREAMING they will nickle and dime you on every single thing. I once saw on a nanny group that a nanny ate a banana from the family's home one day she forgot her lunch and they deducted $1 from her pay and listed "banana" on her pay stub.

I feel like this is at the same level.

OMG

All of my families have given me free reign of their kitchen. I never abuse that, but how insane.

This is terrible, but I also wonder if she'll come to her senses and become a good employer after someone points this out to her.

Yeah, definitely say that this trial showed that this is not the right job for you. If you want to do her a favor tell her she can't stop paying you when she nurses. It's not like you can leave to do some other job durign that 20 minutes.

This is a two week trial and we’re still working on the contract. But my hours are 9-5. Nothing about unpaid nursing breaks.

But not too worried because when the trial ends I’m going part ways.

I noticed my pay was shorter than expected. I asked for paystubs and was just sent them and looks like MB is literally stopping my pay when she’s nursing baby.

She’s WFH and baby is EBF.

On all my dates there are numerous 5-20 minute gaps. I don’t even know what to say.
