We're not looking for a chef, just a person who is a good cook. It doesn't seem like care.com has that, exactly--just housekeeping and babysitters/nannies, some of whom are willing to do meal prep. We'd be happy to have the person do some cleaning as well, if they'd like additional hours, but we'd be ok with someone who just cooks. We could order groceries.
Parents, we needs to understand that nannies are not there to do meal prep, cooking for the family or even do “light housekeeping". Their jobs is to care for our children. Having them doing those tasks requires extra money.Let’s face it. When we want our house clean we pay our cleaner services! When we want our meals 3-5 times a week we pay for a chef or a food services easily full salary / charger. Therefore; when we want our nannies do to such a things; we need to pay them accordingly. You will found a lot and the right nanny willing to do all of the above if paid accordingly.
