Like others have said, I couldn’t leave my employers in the lurch so I’d still go to work taking all possible precautions. My charges are 3 and newborn and one parent really can’t handle them alone for two weeks.

If I had older charges or just one charge, I would consider taking two weeks off. I know my employers would support that decision as well and pay for it.

You should be off with pay. Covid is deadly your health comes first.

I’d still go to work. I’d insist everyone is masked and the sick parent be locked in his/her room but I couldn’t leave my employers in the lurch by not coming to work.

If my employer could quarantine away from the other parent and kids, I would be there in a heartbeat. If they couldn't quarantine away, nope.

Your boss was vaccinated yet still caught the virus?

Yikes!
That isn’t good.

I would not want to go to work if I were you.
I would be afraid that I would catch it.

However many Nannies could not go a few wks. w/out a paycheck however.

OP here-
In this hot summer days is hard to stay outside for a long period of time.
And going inside the house I'm not sure if I want to risk it.
Hard situation for everybody.

Depends on the size of the house and your situation. I would work masked if one of my employers tested positive because otherwise the positive parent would have to help with the kids (newborn and two little ones) which is far more dangerous for unvaccinated kids. But my employers home is big and the positive parent could stay away from all of us.

I want to be fear but also be safe.
