My wife and I are thinking about a solution to outsource household employers' administrative responsibilities. Our experience with services offered by "nanny tax" payroll companies has been underwhelming, to say the least. We believe there's room to simplify the administrative burden while enabling better benefits for household employees (health, retirement, vision, dental, PTO, mat/pat leave, perks). We are trying to hear experiences from household employers and employees (child/senior caregivers, nannies, housekeepers, therapists, etc.) about running payroll, paying taxes, and finding benefits. Any comment on your experiences will help us understand whether there's an opportunity to help families and household workers with these issues.
Thanks!
