You really don’t want an au pair for a child that age unless you have done some serious vetting of your own. Do not rely on an agency opinions. Especially for a child that can’t communicate readily.

I think it is allowed as long as she would never be left alone with or responsible for the toddler.

Nope, absolutely not.

Also, how did she get enough experience to be IQ between creating her profile and coming? 200 hours is a lot for someone that young. Even if they did it for 10 hour days, that’s still 20 days of work, and all of it has to be verifiable as with newborn to 23 months.

This is a strict rule because of some tragedies in the past with APs and babies, I dont think they are legally allowed to bend this rule, for good reason.

Nope, they absolutely 100% will not allow a non iq au pair live in a home with a child under 2.
