Have your AP poll her network - my Polish AP found a dentist in a Polish community in a nearby state (NJ) who was had a sliding scale approach that made the extensive work she needed feasible. We paid half, BTW.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a dental school - that's where a lot of US students get dental care. Our AP needed wisdom teeth surgery - but the schools were closed during COVID, so we found a free mobile dental van (there are several in DC/Montgomery County) and she got it done there.

Our Au Pair has had a rough time with her teeth. The dentist that our LCC recommended doesn't do surgical procedures so we switched her to our dentist for a tooth abstraction but now she has much more work that needs to be done and our dentist seems expensive. I don't want to send her to a school and want to make sure she's getting good care. We're expecting to continue to help pay for all of her bills but this was not an expense that we were expecting this month. Would love any advise.
