But she lets her fly everywhere and get tested twice a week

I am in favor of paying above the stipend. I still find OP's post off-putting.

Not the OP, but also a LTHM and it's pretty obvious, no?

We pay over the stipend, dedicated car, 4 weeks off (2 her choice, 2 ours), all fed holidays, all gas paid, and use of AP credit card for whatever grocery food she wants for herself outside of our weekly shopping/household food. We pay for small things like local ski trips and such when we go as a family (rentals Lift tix...ect)

The perks people are offering now are really nice, especially since the borders are closed. I think it's great these young adults get extra. I'm not going to begrudge someone for negotiating. Good for them! It's a cultural exchange, but it's still a job.

We sadly have decided that we no longer need an AP since I am working at home indefinitely, and my kids are pretty self sufficient. My oldest son will be driving this year.

Our AP lovely and amazing, and is available in the rematch database beginning today. APIA, Id 409531.

You can see my description in the database. I am happy to talk live when my AP and a family are in serious discussions. She will provide my contact.

FYI, I do provide pretty generous perks and benefits. And she has been told she will be in high demand and will be able to negotiate a higher stipend.

I say this because families will need to be ready to address the market conditions right up front, especially now that South African APs are banned for the time being.

I know she will find a wonderful family.

I guess this also means goodbye to this forum. It has been a great 9 years of APs (no rematches, although a few "interesting" APs).
