Op here. I just completed the NCS training through Newborn Care Solutions. I received some positive feedback about their course on a different platform and it was actually very informative and the instructors were great (online training). If you’re a member of INA they offer a discount code which ended up being the same price as NCTA. The only con I have is I had to pay an additional $25 to take the assessment— that should’ve been included in the price.

CACHE is offering a discount for the certification; originally $197 now $147 through the end of the year. I don’t see the difference reflected on the site (I emailed with a bunch of questions prior to completing the course) but I’ll reach out once I send off all the required paperwork and hear back— the $147 isn’t due upfront— for anyone interested in becoming a NCS. They also offer a payment plan (7 installments) but then you have to wait each month for a new module to be released, basically your paying for 1 module at a time. Hope this helps the next person! Look into all your training nannies, there are some great child care courses currently at a discounted price due to COVID.

Has anyone taken the course through The Newborn Care Training Academy?

What are some other organizations you’ve become certified through?

Thanks!
