My employer’s mother just flew in for the birth of her second grandchild and isolated for five days where she was tested three times -day one, day three and day six and then cleared. She said it was s totally painless and NBD.
Only five days from the flight? Not long enough if one is exposed on the plane.

It’s uncomfortable and also I don’t want someone who is testing people for covid putting their hands near me. Is it reasonable for me to say no? The kids are 1 and 3 and they aren’t getting tested, just the adults.
I feel like this is unnecessary and invasive. Plus the time it will take (unpaid) for me to go get a test.
Just wanted to hear some thoughts please, before I decline. They want me to do the test next week.
