Something I read also said it is illegal to add your nanny to your business (if you have one) as the law is very clear that the nanny contributes to your household, not your business.

You're probably doing this because you are doing something illegal like not paying OT or taxes.

Also in DC you need worker’s compensation.

We use GTM for taxes and yes I have business tax number.

Please pay on the books, best for the person you trust caring for your children.

Has anyone started a personal LLC to hire their nanny through? We are looking into the different required insurances, etc and curious if anyone has done this. Thanks!
