We have an undocumented nanny who has been with working with our family for the past two months whom we adore. We have been paying off the books but she wants to move to a payroll system and start paying taxes which we are 100% fine with. The only issue is she does not have a SSN, just a ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number). Have you used or do you know a payroll system that takes the ITIN?
I also read that because it is an ITIN and not a SSN, we will not be able to use FSA funds. Anyone have any experience with this?
Lastly, what's the rule of thumb for converting the hourly rate off the books to the hourly rate with taxes?
Thanks!
I hope you get caught and if I knew your name, I would report you.
What a bad person you really are; for saying that. You should be thankful if you are a citizen of this wonderful country. You don't have any idea for what t hard working nannies have to go through in their life to be here now. Sadly it's clear you don't treat people with respect. You should respect this mom's comment with the respect that she deserve without No Judgement.

This. You or the payroll company have to file tax forms which need an SSN.
