Surepay will send another w2 if she worked any time in 2020. Otherwise, you’re fine.

Hi there, we had a nanny in 2019 with the W-2 and all that, but she moved away. We signed up with Surepay, a payroll service so they could handle payroll and file the yearly and quarterly wage reports with DC. We got a tax id etc.

How do I handle 2020 Taxes and things moving forward not that she's gone? Do I need to do anything to formally dissolve the employment for tax reasons? Ie. file anything the feds or dc to let them know?
