I search, do the emailing and then we both do interviews. I probably account for 75% of decision and him 25%

It works better for one adult to do the first and second rounds, the other to do the final pick. I could see shifting second round to the second adult and final pick to kids who are all elementary or older.

Our Kids are young as well and I do the search, first interviews and if I feel really good about it I involve DH for a final interview. He usually trusts my judgment as we are usually on the same page on this.

DH and I are both involved in the searching, interviewing, and selecting. Our kids are too young to be involved. I can see them being involved as a tie-breaker down the road.

If you are a 2 parent home, do you both pick the ap? Or really just one of you?
Our kids are old enough now so tried to let them pick as we all could not agree on same one.
