Our absolutely horrendous AP was snapped up very quickly, this was her 3rd rematch.

A good AP should not have a problem. She also used the Facebook groups.

September is going to be difficult because if you don’t already have an au pair with a visa appointment then she/he most likely won’t get one anytime soon since our Embassies have be closed overseas. If you are thinking of September consider getting one earlier on a rematch.

I'm looking for an aupair to start in september and more of a long term situation. Let me know if she is still available.

One is called Cultural Care host family/au pair first match, rematch, and extension. I’m sure there are similar for other agencies.

Can someone post links to some of the FB rematch groups?

The au pair definitely needs a loving home. She’s infant qualified and prefers an infant and if two children in family the second one a toddler. I’ve spoken with her myself and she is quite kind and loving. If you want further details please email me at directordcsa@gmail.com.

Her term is 7 months so she may be a good bridge for someone who is expecting someone later in the year or a new family that may want someone longterm (she seems open to 2nd year).

We left the program due to covid. Our excellent au pair was snapped up quickly by a great family. We posted to a bunch of the fb rematch groups, and also responded to a bunch of host family posts.
