We are trying to figure out what to do with ours. Our nanny hasn't been coming for a while (our choice), but we're still paying her. We're not sure that our partner family is as isolated as we are. Don't know what to do, especially if the dad from the other family isn't able to keep working from home for the foreseeable future.

You are getting less exposure than daycare, but more exposure than if no one ever left the house.

Penny wise and pound foolish? Not every has, oh, an extra $25,000 a year.

If both sets of parents have the same exposure level, and the nanny is okay with it, I would think it’s fine. I know a few doctor/nurse couples that work in the same location. They need care, just as much (or more) than parents who work from home, but may have been daycare families before covid.

+1. Or as my Irish grandmother used to say, “a damned foolish economy”.

Yes, we are still participating in our nanny share.

Is anyone still nanny sharing as they normally would during COVID-19?
