If the contract is witten with a one child rate, yes. If not, the nanny takes the contract to unemployment and collects on the terminated half.

If one family in a nanny share drops out, yet the other family still employs the nanny -- will she be able to collect unemployment to recoup lost wages? This is in the state of Virginia and each family pays $15/hour.
