I was having a hard time before I accepted that this is how it’s going to be for at least a few months. Now I’m okay and set a schedule with lots of outdoor time (non-playground parks) and various art and sensory projects. My charge has always loved reading so we average about 25 books a day.

I’m only stressed about my charge getting the virus. I take every precaution.

YES! A face mask will definitely scare little kids and they are unbearably hot and uncomfortable to wear all day. If you are completely socially isolated on your off hours and you employers are completely socially isolated - you’re fine.

Nannies, waking up this thread to see how everyone is doing. If your employers are both WFH and the kids have no school how are you managing? It's not as bad as I thought it would be but both of my kids are school aged and they are BORED. Me too frankly. Anyone get laid off? Anyone staying home?

My charge is 17 months old and full of energy so it’s been hard for him. He loves the playground, library and his music class. He keeps asking about his Music Together teacher. My family owed me two weeks of paid, and because I drove my mom to the airport on Sunday night, MB texted me not to come to work on Monday
Haven’t heard one word since, no pay, no nothing
Guess they’ll have a ride awakening when I’ll come back to get my money and get out of there one min later

Took a lot of walks and MB prepared a school homework day by day package for us which was nice. No playgrounds and no playdates which obviously makes sense. How are you guys doing?
