Subject: Getting two babies out of the house
3 steps? I was taking both kids down like 15 steps. You can also pop one baby in a bouncer at the door, take one down, strap them in and run up to grab the other one. Since their right by the door, you can still see the other baby in the stroller.

I had a friend with twin babies who lives on the 3rd floor of a Condo building. She would get everything out the door then take one baby donwn the first flight, back for teh 2nd, then one baby down to the next flight, back for the 2nd, until she was down. She left the stroller in her car.

THIS! My twins are now 2.5 years but as babies i did stroller first down 12 steps, then one baby at a time. Just ensure you have everything you need ready before you start the process.

That’s your choice as mom. A nanny should NEVER leave a baby alone outside, even for a few seconds.

I’m the twin nanny poster and yes this is it. I was mostly joking since that would be overkill for 3 steps. I just have such great memories of wearing all my babies when they were wee. But I do suggest getting comfortable with back-wearing since it makes a lot of things easier with two babies, such as going up a few steps with a stroller, boarding a bus, etc.

Pop one baby into a baby carrier on your back, put the other in one are and pull the stroller down backwards with the other hand. Or just learn to tandem wear and ditch the stroller altogether!

Are you taking the kids out in stroller or arms?
For stroller, strap both babies in and go down backwards.
For arms, all you can do is wear a diaper bag-backpack and carry both. Or use a carrier for one and hold the other although that’s hard if you have a backpack too.

Subject: Getting two babies out of the house
Starting a nanny share and there are three steps leading out the door to the street. How can we safely get both babies who aren’t walking out of the house at the same time? Any advice?
