$20 per hour, with 1.5x for overtime, but overtime will be rare. This will be pre-tax but excluding employer taxes. There will also be 10 paid vacation days and 10 paid holidays. There will be no non-child-related cleaning and meal-prep responsibilities.
Is it high, is it low? How much of an annual bonus should we give? How much of a raise do we give each year? How much would we up the pay to share the nanny with another family? How much would we up to the pay if we were to have a second child?
There is only one way to find out - advertise the job and see how you feel about the pool of candidates who respond.
Your rate is neither too high nor too low. My sense is you'll be able to find someone suitable.
