Don't have a lot of experience with NoVa prices but in terms of bonus, standard is usually 1-2 weeks of pay. Annual raise of $0.50-$1. When we added a second kid, we heard $1-$2 was the norm but we upped it $5/hour. We also contribute to her health insurance. Shares are usually a few more dollars on the hourly rate, but then split by 2 assuming both kids are in it full time. You each should handle your own payroll/taxes/bonuses etc. in that scenario.

There is only one way to find out - advertise the job and see how you feel about the pool of candidates who respond.
Your rate is neither too high nor too low. My sense is you'll be able to find someone suitable.
