Wow! That is truly generous and so very thoughtful! Good for you!

Thanks. She's been with us for several years and is basically another mom to our kids. We try to do what we can when we can.

It’s truly heartening to hear about nanny-employers like you. I’m serious. NP here.

We gave her a pretty shawl, pictures of the kids, and $1,000 cash. Plus, she will have 7 extra paid days off.

I’m still very close to all my former employers and charges except one so I am literally showered with gifts this time of year. It’s just wonderful!

My current employers are equally lovely and have given me two weeks pay and a gift certificate for something I mentioned plus a full week off (not part of my PTO or vacation).

Happy Holidays, fellow nannies!

I'll be SHOCKED if I dont get one. I worked through an 11 month house gut and rehab this year, keeping everything running smoothly and on track. I havent taken a single day off in the last 2.5 years

You're crazy for not taking vacations.

Two weeks pay and a“ugly” sweater my four-year-old charge picked out (and thinks is beautiful). Apparently she insisted on getting me this sweater so I will wear it with pride!

I work for a really great family.

I just got two weeks pay bonus plus a beautiful card and a gorgeous leather tote bag I admired last summer!

I truly love my employers and love working with their wonderful baby.

I also have the next ten days off - paid - and not part of my PTO or vacation.

Happy Holidays, Nannies!
