I think this is perfect.

No bonus is necessary for such short term employment, but this is a perfect acknowledgement for someone you thought did a fantastic job.

What a bummer to lose her!!

Pp, she is moving out of state, I highly doubt she is coming back. I’d give her a weeks pay.

A day's pay, and a great reference letter. I mean, at three months, our employees are just coming off probation.

I live in a low cost of living area. Our nanny asked for $20/hour and that's what we pay her for three days/week. Pay is $600/week. She is doing an absolutely fabulous job caring for our baby. She goes above and beyond cleaning and organizing my house while the baby naps. She is simply awesome. Unfortunately, she'll be leaving us after three months on the job due to an unforeseen health problem in a close family member. She is moving out of state. I'm devastated, but I'm still happy we got to have her in our lives for a short time. I want to give her a bonus when she leaves. What do you think would be the right amount?
