Op here Thanks for great advice .
It’s almost two weeks I am not working and I am missing my previous charges badly.
It’s almost week I love to communicate with strangers children. I think I was little tired.
I was nanny for so long . How come I worked all those years if I didn’t love children.
Thanks again

You are getting older now & probably have less patience overall.

Op here , it’s not about age and patience . I have friends who are in their late 40s but still enjoy children.
Yes everyone is different. I don’t want to spend time even with the children are very sweet and calm

To be honest now I don’t enjoy my job any more. I used to love kids, babies but not anymore.
I don’t like when they cry now. I used to entertain ( without complaining)them hours and hours whenever they used to cry.
Do you think do I have to change my career?
I am 38 btw ( with bachelor degree)
I worked as nanny since I used to love children and had flexibility to do different activities with them.
Any suggestions
Thanks

Yes. You have burn out. Nothing to be ashamed about because it can happen to anyone in any job. Good luck.

Yes, it sounds like a good time to change careers. Your feelings will not change on their own and it isn’t fair to half-ass it with a child.

Yes, change to a career that doesn't involve children.
