I suppose it depends on what they are lying about. White lies....wouldn’t really bother me.

I would be pleasant and fake just to see the child. Remember your charge is 100% innocent and loves you. It’s bad enough that the child has to grow up with those parents - don’t make it worse for him/her by suddenly disappearing from his/her life.

Plus you need the reference.

Be bigger and better than the parents are. You can do it!

So my family was lying to me about something many times
I’m finally leaving and although I love the child, I just cannot imagine myself being friendly and staying in touch after my last hour there
You know that feeling when somebody lies to you and are really hurt, don’t want to see that person, but have to suck it up for another few weeks and can’t wait to get away?!?!?! I’m so torn!!!! I really want to dump them
