My new AP went to the DMV this week and used a bank statement that wasn't 30 days old. This isn't a DMV policy.

SO my AP just got back from Virginia DMV. Apparently there is a new rule that your bank statement (that is used as one of the 2 required proofs of Virginia address) needs to cover full 30 days. They did not accept a statement as of Aug 20th that covered period Aug 1 - Aug 20th. If you look at VA rules for proof of address they don't really other documents to prove VA residency without the bank statement... Argh... posting here so that others don't rush with their APs and wait till full billing cycle is closed in the bank.
