That is a little less than a year away so hopefully no one advises you to begin your search soon.

I would give perhaps 4-7 weeks to look.
You can use the time in between to ask around for referrals from neighbors, co-workers, relatives and/or close friends.

In my opinion, that is the best way to find an optimal person.

Apologies if this was already addressed, but I couldn't find a thread when I searched.

I'm expecting my first child in February - with leave I expect we will need childcare starting in May or June 2020.

My question: How soon is too soon to start looking for a nanny and/or nanny share family?
