Best to talk to the other family and decide. We did a diaper bag that I stocked for the week - it was just for the share. I made sure it has two weeks of diapers, wipes, clothes, burp clothes. I left crib sheets and a sleep sack at their house. Nanny did kid laundry for other family so did crib sheets and sleep sack each week for me.

They had all the "equipment" - high chair, stroller, bouncer. They had a pack and play that they set up in their guest room. So we only needed a car seat base for nanny car. Their kid was older than our infant, so they had everything but did not need it. If two people both have infants, it is common for discussing and figuring out what makes the most sense - does the other family want to buy the double stroller and have it be theirs for when they have a second kid or do they want to split cost. Everyone's situation will be different

The essentials: food, diaper, spare clothes, extra binky, bibs etc. talk to the hosting family to see what they have room for- I’ve had shares were the family left enough diaper for the month and some just enough for the week. They could have a spot in the closet or play area for you to store extra clothes, etc., or just pack a bag and leave it at their house each week so you don’t have to worry about packing everyday or lugging baby and bag. My current share, the families use the same wipes so they share a pack of wipes. Also, if your baby uses a sound machine make sure they have one or be sure to provide one.

Leave there:
-pack and play
-booster/high chair
-car seat (in nanny's car if applicable)
-2 crib sheets
-sleep sack
-light blanket which may be baby burrito
-1-2 changes of clothes (maybe more if an infant - a few onesies)
-sleeve/package of diapers
-package or two of wipes
-diaper cream/lotion
-infant tylenol/motrin
-a few toys/teethers/books

Pack daily:
-food/milk/formula
-lovey/pacifier

Contribute:
-paper towels

You can maintain these all if you make proper placement of each thing, it will help you.

Diapers, wipes, diaper ointment, adult hand sanitizer for after changing, and disposable changing pads. Usually for the week.

Obviously bottles, formula or breastmilk clearly labeled. Anything you me baby needs or used in a day.

Toys are great to bring and leave. Oh and bedding - at least two crib sheets. Bring changes of clothes every day.

What are things I should purchase to leave at nanny share host v. pack every day?
How do people typically do things? Ie: box of diapers for week-or packed diaper bag full of stuff for day? Anything I would not think of? Totally new to this. Any tips appreciated!
