Did your ap find a new family? If not I am I interested! Just signed up with an agency, but of course feel so much better if the person is already here with a good reference

How about posting on the nanny forum?

How about not? This is an AP, not a nanny. The post is in the right place.

I would think she'd be a pretty appealing candidate, but people always worry about what's up with rematch candidates.

Having been through that experience once, I'd say you could encourage her to offer right up front in her rematch documents to connect prospective new families with you, so that you can vouch for her. Otherwise it can be very hard to see if the rematch is the AP's 'fault' or the family's 'fault,' and people are risk-averse. Knowing that her current family is very supportive and the rematch is related to a move would likely help a lot.

The most helpful thing you could do is allow her to stay with you until she finds a family and not have her go into "rematch" officially until she has. That way, she won't be in danger of getting sent home because of your move.

My family is moving and my wonderful AP is going through the rematching process with her agency, but I was curious if anyone has gone through this process wanting to boost the signal for their AP. She has been amazing for us and our three kids, and is staying with us for the first three months after our move, but has expressed interest in staying in the D.C. area. I've talked with some friends, but was wondering if there are any other forums I should use to help her find a new host family.
