It's not creep and needs to be addressed as it will only get worse. Nip it in the bud.
Is it “job creep”? I don’t think it is. If the nanny is expected to do a child’s laundry, is that laundry confined to only what the child wears in the nanny’s presence?
Washing two overnight bottles is no big deal. And if the parents have always done it, there is no “creep” involved.

Anonymous wrote:Hi nannies and parents quick question I wash the bottles that are used during my time with my charge. When I come in mom will have like 6-7 bottles in the sink from the previous night. I've washed them once to help as she was rushing that morning now I'm getting the impression that she thinks it's expected. I don't mind helping if needed here and there but I feel as though mom should be cleaning what she's using when I'm not here. She will put the other dishes away/wash them but leave all his bottles dirty in the sink. How should I handle this?
