The same rate you pay a winter babysitter, $20-$25/hr.

Please don’t hire a high school student to drive. Hire an adult. These seems more of a job for a professional nanny who is looking for summer work. Expect to pay $20-25 an hour for the light cleaning and laundry. $18-20 an hour of these tasks aren’t included.

I would not trust a high school to drive.

The laundry and additional tasks make this job more in the $20+ hour range

No kid today is going to take less that $15/hr and probably want more.

When I was 16-20 I was doing similar work. I got $14/hour for 3 kids (7, 10, 12), 8:30-4ish M-F off the books in HS and $18/hr for 3 (5, 5, 9) in college. I was going for my child development degree so people were willing to pay a bit more for me. I can't speak for all, but the last thing I wanted as a semi-broke high school/college kid was taxes withheld. I would expect you could get a responsible high schooler or local college kid for $15/hr. Less if you want someone to screw around on their phone or watch TV most of the day and kinda just be at the kids' disposal as needed.

Depends. A high school student might be happy with $12-15/hour, mostly likely cash. A college student will typically want $15+/hour, but may want taxes withheld. An adult will most likely be $18+/hour. You have three kids who are all old enough to do their own laundry, help with meal prep and clean, so why not set those as their tasks and just hire a high school student, childcare for youngest, older sibling type for middle, friend/driver for oldest?
