Your MomBoss had absolutely NO RIGHT to read your phone’s contents simply because it was charging.

If that is what she told you, than she certainly does not know a thing about respect.

I would try really hard to find another job ASAP.

I don’t care. Honestly, I just wanted to see the consensus on if I was wrong in my thinking.

No. I am not a troll. I am a nanny and this truly happened.

So your MB happened to see your cell when it was unlocked (or knows what your code is) right after you entered or in the middle of the post and knew you were writing about her? Give us a link to that post.

I had just posted. And no, I am not going to link the comment.

No, she was angry about what I wrote but defiant about reading my phone. Sorry that wasn’t clear.

Another employer of a nanny here and I agree. This is truly unforgettable.

Unforgivable, I mean, although I would also never forget it.

Of course it is wrong and a terrible violation of your privacy.

I also don’t get why anyone would get bent out of shape for reading a anonymous, unidentifiable post.

Quit. Your employer has major boundary issues.

She's probably reading this as we speak.

My MB was defiant when she confronted me with something I wrote here, on DCUM, about a situation at work. She came in just as my charge was getting up from her nap and I am guessing my phone wasn’t locked. Or maybe it was and she knows my code.

She thinks there is nothing wrong with what she did as my phone was charging at her house.
