I signed up with APIA and CC when I was searching candidates. I ended up finding suitable candidates with both agencies. I decided on APIA because I liked the LCC for our neighborhood better. Felt that she was more experienced and responsible.

You will meet the LCC that will be assigned to you during the search process. I think that it is important to have a reliable LCC.

Also by signing up for multiple agencies, you widen the pool of candidates.

+10, I am currently registered with 3 agencies and I am interviewing APs from all of them and I will choose the best. Don't limit yourself.

This! There absolutely no downside to register with multiple agencies. Agency does not matter all that much (size might matter if you go into rematch), what matters is finding the right candidate. This is especially true for very young children.

I really like the AP's from CHI. www.chinet.org I have had really good experiences. It is a smaller agency but very qualified selection.

We are trying to decide between AuPair in America or AuPairCare for our first AuPair. Looking for someone infant qualified as our baby will
Be 6 months when she arrives.

Which agency would you use? Or has anyone had an especially bad experience with one or the other?
