Then move along! Don’t you think that if OP could magically improve her English that she would? How many languages do you speak? Stop being so judgmental and start being more compassionate. Most of us can easily decipher this, so maybe it is your skills that are lacking???
OP, you didn’t do anything wrong. I think when suggesting something to a parent, you should be cautious to suggest it very gently while also asking them if they have suggestions. I can imagine that because your English isn’t strong, that you may come across as more demanding and less as wanting to work with them through the issue. But, they hired you knowing this and should work with you on this. I just don’t think those families will have much luck with finding the childcare they want. I wish you the best in finding a new family!
