For which I assume you'd also need proof of address?

AP presumably has proof of address (bank statements, etc.) Does she still need approval from her HP?

Just be aware that depending on your insurance you may have to add her to your premium regardless if you want it or not. That is what my insurance told me, that everyone with a driver license in the household must be included in the policy, which means your rate will go up.

All five of my APs did just fine without a drivers license. If your AP doesn’t need to drive, then yes, it’s an odd request.

In DC, the host family is required to prove address.

Maybe she wants to continue to practice. I don’t understand... what’s the hesitation in helping her improve and get her license? That has nothing to do with her using your car, just be clear about that.

Maybe it's different in DC, but in MD AP does not need anything from the HP to get her driver's license. It seems to me that it should not matter to you whether AP has a driver's license. However, use of your car, etc. is a completely different story. This depends on what you discussed with the AP.

Did you tell her she wouldn't be allowed to touch your cars even if she had a license? She may be making a lot of stupid assumptions...

Why can’t she fill out the host family address on her form?

She needs to show an address to get a license. She doesn’t have a lease. Your filing out the form demonstrates her address. Why be a bitch about it?

If you have no interest in her driving, don’t want her on your insurance or in your car, and it was the rematch issue?! No way!

Are you ok with her driving your car and paying her insurance? If not, I'd say no.

Even though she was in rematch from her old family for not being able to drive and we specifically don’t need or want someone to drive. Is this a normal request?
