I agree about giving the name of a great agency - probably your agency - and putting in a good word for them if you want but nothing more.

Preschool teachers are very much in demand as nannies and can easily earn between $25 to $35 an hour. No preschool is going to pay that. But no medical generally and no job that lasts 30 yrs like a school.

... and at least one quarter of the teachers there have asked how to become a nanny in the last month or if I know anyone looking for a nanny.

It’s a very well respected preschool, too.

It puts me in a precarious position of not wanting to anger the school’s director but wanting to help these women. My charge will be in this school for another three years.
