Sure! As PP wrote, we don’t have a biological connection or imperative with this newborn. It will come!! I think we all forget how little we felt for our older charges when they were newborns and we were new to the job!

Going through that right now with 7 yo charge in new NF. Her 3 yo sister and I had an instant bond and the MB told me in the interview that SHE would be the one to take a long time to bond. Hang in there!

Maybe it is just time, but I am just not feeling it for my second charge yet. She is six months now and a sweet, easy baby. Her brother, now five, is simply the love of my life.

Does it just take time?
