That is patently false, PP. As a nanny, I can promise you that all of my charges had loving and involved parents. They simply had to work. And because they had to work, they chose the best alternative for the teaching and care of their child.
+1. What a mean and vile thing to say. I’m a nanny, and honestly am amazed by my former employers. Yes, they hired me to care for their child, but’s that’s only because they’re working to provide their child a wonderful life. Yes, some moments are missed, but the child has a roof over their head, food on the table, health insurance, money for activities, college funds, etc. They were also the most amazing, doting parents to their kids. We all have to work in life to provide for our families - that is why nannies have jobs, and likely you have one.
