Are you going to stay for the month? Will you tell us what happened?

Legally can you? Yes, absolutely.

If you do, you should not plan to use this family as a reference in the future and this family would likely tell their friends about your behavior. Whether that is okay with you or not depends on your circumstances.

It is generally not professional to give less than two weeks notice, but there can be exceptions for outrageous behaviors.

That doesn't matter. The contract isn't bidding for actually quitting. may affect any accrued paid leave being paid out.

Would you rather your reputation ruined because you left without notice, or reputation ruined being blamed for something you did not do.

If determined to leave without notice, I would send an email stating you are leaving without notice due to the quarrel.

Any issues come up in the quarrel like lack of trust? Were voices raised?

Big quarrel - and I want to stop working as like now!

She said I need to give them 2 or 1 months notice. This is crazy because in 2 months anything can happened and I worry they will put the blame on me i.e child gets injured.
