Will be needing a nanny TBD 3-5 full days per week in Arlington, VA. When is the best time to secure a nanny for a summer 2019 start date? Also, if anyone has a nanny recommendation for someone who will be looking for a job around that time I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

You don’t want to look to early because nanny might not be available (even if she says she will be) if another job comes around and seems better and the start date is sooner, they may go with that position- like pp said “the good nannies go fast!”
Also, keep an eye out on here. Some families post their nanny will be available on X date (few months in advance) because their kids are going to school etc.
