Oh, I forgot! Don’t dry in the dryer unless you are absolutely sure they’re no longer stained! You can try treating with lemon juice and drying in the sun, but I’d try the other first. And if everything else fails (and you haven’t put them in the dryer yet!), you can use Fels-Naptha bar soap. Not even bad menstrual stains escape Fels-Naptha!

Lazy mother and not your problem if it doesn't happen on your watch.

Try amodex if the clothes haven’t been washed and dried.

The personal cycles has to be your friend! Examine clothes before they go into the dryer.

Zout is a good spray treatment. Oxiclean soaks a couple times if needed and one 24 hour soak doesn’t get it all out. And a little bleach on stained whites.

As part of my nanny position, I handle my charge’s laundry. The four days I am with her I can immediately treat any stain but can’t seem to get out three day old stains that occur when I am not with her. Even soaking in oxiclean doesn’t get them all out.

Any secrets?

Thanks!
