We just did grandmas’ birthdays (close together) and I used tape to spell out “Grandma” on an apron (for the one who likes to cook) and a glasses case (for the one who is always losing her reading glasses), and then had the kids fingerpaint all over it. Once it dried I pulled off the tape and it said Grandma in relief.

I’ve done footprint butterflies on canvas, I’ve also done handprint garden stones.

We have done paintings and watercolor cards already. I need a novel idea for a gift from my charge.

Any suggestions?
