Hi,

Thank you for your comment. We are still working on building the website to include the CEO and the administrative team- we are excited and wanted to get the word out! GHCC is registered in the state of DC, MD and VA, and all our policy and procedures are outlined in our Employee and Client Handbook. Anyone who is interested in a position may send their resume via email or apply on our website (we are also listed on care.com and indeed). If you have any questions please email us and one of our team members will set up a time to call and answer any questions you may have. Thank you!

Why don't uou post the CEO name and administrative team names here? You advertised your services here.

However, they’ve been around for years, so they have more to include on their site like pictures, reviews etc. I do think having candidates submit a resume is better than giving out their social but isn’t that standard on applications you fill out online? I don’t remember the last time I filled out an application

Don’t you put your address on your resume? I don’t recall seeing any other (super) personal information needed. I always skip over the address for references, just include the name and phone number.

I don’t include my addresss anymore because I applied to a fraudulaent ad once and fbeg kept sending me junk mail. I only include phone number and email as well As the city I live in

Hi there!

Our families are given the opportunity to meet our caregivers before they sign a contract. They are also given a two week trial period, where the family may choose to terminate the contract overal or request a new caregiver.

In reference to “ the employee can’t negotiate their rate,” well that’s not true. In any job, you can (and should) negotiate your salary if you think you’re worth more. We don’t just aim to making our clients happy but our employees as well. If you would be interested in learning more, please contact us at info@growinghandschildcare.com. Thank you!

Hello families! We are excited to share that Growing Hands Child Care LLC (GHCC) is now offering ALL-YEAR-ROUND childcare for your ‘in-home’ arrangement. We provide families in the DC, MD and VA area, with amazing caregivers who will love, nurture and teach your children!

I know what you’re thinking, “not another Nanny Agency!” Nope, we are not just another nanny agency and here’s why:

1. Our caregivers are employed by us- GHCC
2. We provide backup care
3. No hidden fees
4. Arrange nanny-shares at no additional cost
5. Only 8 holiday closings
6. Provide art materials for special projects
7. Daily Log Journal to record milestones and daily activities

If this sounds like an arrangement that would work for your family, please visit www.growinghandschildcare.com and send us an email or give us a call! We are open Monday- Friday, from 6:00 a.m to 6:30 p.m.

In addition, we are always looking for professional childcare providers. Please feel free to send an application (located on our website) along with your resume or a description of your experience working with children.

Thank you,
The GHCC Team
