I’m an understanding person, and I told her she can give me the rest today ( I had off yesterday). MB replied “ I don’t know if I will go to the bank this weekend”. I told her that not getting paid is unacceptable, and that I need the money Tuesday morning. I go in today and MB didn’t have my pay. I feel bad, but I feel likely telling her I won’t go back in until I’m paid. MB has been so nonchalant and dismissive as if it’s not a big deal. If I were an employer, and I didn’t have enough to cover pay for that week, I would run to the ATM right there or make sure I had it first thing the day she came back. I feel like it’s such a lack of respect. I want to tell her I can’t help her out, but I know she needs the help.
Yes, ask her to go to the ATM or leave.

No excuse.
Not sure if you can sue her if you were working illegally though. You need the back pay at the beginning of the shift or don't work it.

Just tell her that you simply cannot return to a job where you haven’t been properly compensated as of yet.
Who in their right minds could even blame you....??!
