This is why you don’t pay cash or accept it. Why couldn’t they write her a check? Venmo? PayPal? Zella? Transfer money? It’s sooo easy to pay someone now.

She has missed three days and was late twice in her first 3 weeks. The first two days was prior to her job start when she notified me that she was sick, and it delayed her starting. She missed yesterday, and after saying she was going to be late today, we told her not to come in. I start back to work next week, and I’m worried about finding a replacement. We don’t know if it’s the nannies behavior or issues from last week. We didn’t have enough to cover her weekly payment, so only gave her half of the money she was owed. We planned to pay her the rest this week. Now I’m nervous and trying to scramble to find new childcare. Would you fire her or try to make it work?
