Most rematches take longer than 2 weeks to find someone new, especially now if you are with CCAP, and are less then desirable.

Have you had a mediation meeting or tried working on the situation? Or is it a emergency thing?

You usually have 2 weeks to each find a new family. After that two weeks, the AP either goes to a new family or home. You are usually SOL after that.

You usually cannot search/Match with another until you have the exit meeting with your counselor. She should be telling this. Have you contacted her at all?

If you're with CCAP, you can start searching (but not start matching) right away.

She needs to know you want to rematch since she will have to find a new family as well.

Yeah, tell her that if she intends to remain in the program she'll be better off with a good recommendation from the LCC and host family...and that will only happen if she does her best while she remains in your home.

I think it's the same with all agencies - but you need to tell her and the agency that you're rematching so you can access profiles of other au pairs. I've rematched once. And was also worried about her taking care of the kids. I worked from home a couple of days, and realized that she was on her best behavior because she knew other prospetive families would want to talk with me.

The LCC is the person who will be sending you profiles. At least for APIA, you can't see rematch profiles. Only the agency staff can email them to you.
