No, I don’t. We planned the first two, the last one was a surprise.

In that case, you need your heads examined

Why? Because I decided to have children? It’s mt body and I choose what to do with it. Our last baby was not planned and am “accident” but we’re making the best of it. I have an older brother who is 10 years older than me so I’m so glad my kids will be close in age.

Congratulations, you have given your kids the best gifts = each other.

+1 No need for the rude comments about this family. These children will be working to pay our social security someday, so as long as the family has the means to provide for their kids, more families like this are needed to counter the current demographic trends.

Baby could not be that much of a surprise. You know what was going on.

I mean, I certainly hope the two 10 months apart weren’t planned. That is so dangerous.

I would do it 3x a week, you dont want him to feel like hes been booted out.

Op here. We plan to put him from 7 am-4 pm in daycare. Monday to Friday. Or 3x per week 7 am -4pm. I’m on maternity leave until youngest is 3 months.

If daycare, he'll be home sick with nanny often enough that she will need to be paid for him anyway. Do you really want all those germs with your newborn? How long is maternity leave?

When we had threeabout that age, we had a nanny. I was home, though, and she didn't have the newborn/infant full time until he was almost 1.

The new baby is the spoiler, because he's probably not on a solid eat/sleep schedule yet. The 11-month-old will be content to play at home for a while longer. I agree with you, though, that preschool for the 2.5-year-old would make you all happier.

Our kids are 1 month, 11 months, and 2.5 years old. We need to hire a nanny, but are debating whether or not to put oldest son in preschool. We feel that this would be better as our nanny won’t have 3 under 3. Has anyone else done this? Our nanny won’t need to drop off/pick up, so her days will all consist of spending time with two youngest.
