+ 1. We have 4 kids. We bought the van when expecting number 3.
The van stays at our house, and the nanny drives it while at work. Then we drive it on the weekends or other times we have all the kids. There are so many advantages, including being able to install the seats and know they'll stay installed, being able to decide about car maintenance and repairs, not having to worry about someone else's car if your kid pukes one day, and being able to carry the amount of insurance you think is necessary.
